All that could be suggested is to file a suit for partition, in the absence of complete information esp. as to how the property is ancestral.

Firstly file a suit for partition alongwith injunction so that the said ancestral property cannot be alienated or sold in the absence of all other legal heirs. Make all other brother parties in the said suit.

I agree with experts, institute a suit for partition, possession, permanent injunction, mesne profits and consequential relief through a local prudent lawyer.

Contact a local advocate and issue a notice demanding for share of the property. This should be the first step. Then, through common relatives initiate a dialogue and enter into litigation only as final stage.
