Recovery Of Salary By legal Means

Dear Sir,

I joined a public limited company as a GM-(Business Head) on 2nd Sept'2009. During the last 7 months of my employment, since the day of my joining, I have not receive any salary or a company-owned car as promised to me during the interview and at the time of joining the above said company.I am still employed with the company

My question is :  What are the legal options before me to recover my salary and other expenses from this company. And  under which law..

Thanks,

R.K.Singh

For unpaid wages recovery Sec. 15 of Payment of Wages Act appoint labour commissioner as authority by this act. You may file claim at labour commissioner for recovery of unpaid wages. there is no need to give notice you just file claim at LC.

As you are General Manager (Business Head), the payment of wages Act s not applicable in your case.  Hence, you have to resort to civil suit for recovery of the amounts due and the suit has to be filed in civil court.
