Hi I had booked a property in Bangalore in 2016. i have paid the VAT and ST to the builder as thr payments were made before GST was rolled out in India. i have now cancelled the booking in sept 2018 . the registration is not done and property is getting ready this month. The builder has found new buyer and while refunding my payment the builder is not refunding the VAT and ST . if this legally OK. how can i get back my VAT and ST payment.
