Regarding divorce case

Hi am in relationship with the married person who applied divorce two years back. Its is contested divorce based on dissertion of two years and mental cruelity. They never consummated after marriage . since I got pregnant we moved to same house. The counselling session went on and both parties attended. But after the counselling session nobody from girls side file counter. It is going on like this almost ten months. As he has no leave Now past five months only from my lovers lawyer attending court and lawyer says they are putting attendance for him even though he is not going. Is is possible like that in high court. How long we have to wait to file counter. After how much time exparte can be applied. I need second opinion for this. Thank u
