Hi,
My father recently purchased a property, property has 4 tenants including us(before purchasing). 2 tenants has been residing in d above property since last 60 years(Including my father and some X) & other two(Y and Z) tenants since last 30 years.
Now our landlord decided to sell the property so as one of the tenant my father agreed to buy the property. As none of the other tenants were ready to buy(though the same information regarding selling of the above property by my landlord was mutually dicussed among all other the tenants) And the same has been registered on my mother name last year(March 2015).
Now, since from the day property has been registered on my mother name. As a landlord my mother/father asked my tenants to pay the rent(at present tenants X,Y & Z(Z Got rental agreement for 11 months)). X and Y are neither paying the rent nor evicting the place(had talk with them in general aspects & through neighbourhood). It has been almost 12 months we have been asking for rent but null response from them.
I filed up a case in the Police commisioner and police official tried to talk them but response from X & Y is zero, They(X & Y) has filed a case against us that we are trying to harrass them with some false information.
So, as my mother claims the owner for the above said property v r asking the present tenants(X & Y) to pay rent to us but they r denying to pay.
Now the(2 tenants) r threatening us to give ownership for the above said property of der present area.
Can somebody help me out in this regard.What are the things taken into consideration & what are the next steps to be done.
I don't want our tenants(X & Y) to continue residing at our place,as they don't have courtesy.
