Shop tenants giving hard time vacating

We have a property in Hyderabad AP, which had 5 shops in front (3tenants), we are planning to givethe whole property on development basis, now shop tenants giving us hard time vacating. We had informed them to vacate almost 14 months now and still they haven't done it.

We have been advised by people that if we take matter to court it will take forever. We have to hand over the site within 3 months to developer.

I fail to understand this system where owners at their time of need for betterment are helpless.

Pls advise what needs to done

Kind regards

Khan.

Mr. Khan,

Better to go for settlement with the tenants by way of compromise  in the matter.

Mr. Sachin,

Thanks for your unwanted advise. i can see the quality of advise provided by you. the advise given by you is something which is quite common and usually people do before thinking of litigation.

But, Mr. Sachin you haven't shared your advise properly. it seems that you have just passed out from the law college and thought of giving advise to the needy people without understanding their problems in details and providing solutions with proper strategy.

For your kind information, settlement and negotiation is an art and if you don't know how to do it, then either you shall end up on the losing side or the settlement efforts will get fail.

Therefore, you are advised to give proper advise to any client.
