Dear Sir,
An applicant had filed application for claim / compensation in respect of a rented property (small office space) in Delhi to Land Acquisition Collector under Land Acquisition Act, 1894, in Delhi, for land acquired in Delhi for the purpose of flyover. Now a SHOW CAUSE NOTICE has been received by the applicant from the Court.
The contents of the show cause notice are as follows:
"You are hereby warned to appear in the Court to show cause against the application, failing wherein, the said application will be heard and determined exparte".
The property in question is, where PAGRI (old system) had been taken by the landlord, for which no receipt was given to the applicant. The rent was paid through account payee cheque.
The case is between UOI VERSUS LANDLORD. The applicant is a claimant in the case.
QUERY:
- The applicant would like to know, if he has to file any further documents / reply, apart from the application filed before Land Acquisition Collector.
- Probability of getting compensation in such case.
Hoping for a quick response from the learned advocates.
Thanks in advance.
