While creating EM we need to pay stamp duty on the letter confirming deposit of title deeds...its .25% in the state of karnataka..I was just trying to understand under what provisions of the stamp act[karnataka] the same is mentioned..please help understand..

yes article 6 says about EM however the same is not much clear on the .25% stamp suty factor...can you explain sir?

Hi All,
There was a recent apex court judgement taking away stamp duty for the EM creation...can any one authenticate this information....
