Rights14. Property of a female Hindu to be her absolute Property.-

(1) Any property possessed by a female Hindu, whether acquired before or after the commencement of this Act, shall be held by her as full owner thereof and not as a limited owner.

Explanation.- In this sub-section, "property" includes both movable and immovable property acquired by a female Hindu by inheritance or devise, or at a partition, or in lieu of arrears of maintenance, or by gift from any person, whether a relative or note, before, at or after her marriage, or by her own skill or exertion, or by purchase or by prescripttion, or in any other manner whatsoever, and also any such property held by her as stridhana immediately before the commencement of this Act. of a woman over her Stridhan.
The woman has an absolute, exclusive dominion over all her Stridhan including movable and immovable property and has the power to sell, alienate or give it away as she pleases both during her lifetime and thereafter. Her husband and / or his family members have no rights over a woman's Stridhan.

It is usually practical and preferable that any girl especially educated girls of today maintain a list of their Stridhan as also become capable of looking after their own Stridhan in terms of its security such as opening a bank locker in their single names for the purposes of storing jewellery and instruments of money, property etc. or keeping it under their lock and key.

Mr. Rama chery, I am asking only about the jewellery which the husband has bought during his life time as a family investment and since the jewellery is bought in the form of ladies jewellery definitely the wife would wear it during their cohabitation.  She has no contribution in purchase of the jewellery after the marriage.  I know the jewellery she brought in her marriage and received on occasion of marraige is all her STRIDHAN, but can she claim the other jewellery which is the blood and swet of the husband without any contribution from her side and when she wants to divorce her husband how can she claim those jewellery to be hers.
