Submitting false evidence in court

oneo f my friend is fighting divorce case in court. he came to know the other party has filed false bank statement as it is showing the transaction are not matching from his account to other party bank statement. my friends bank statment is authorized from bank however the other party statement is not authorized but they kept evidence . in the cross it was asked to submit from other party. as we need to take cross futher can it stopped and ask court to take appropriate action. what is advisable let me know. we should take this in final argument and ask for penalty. also can we ask to stop the maintanace on this basis.I would like to know normally in family case for such record tempering and false statement do we get chance to get back maintenace. as the maintance is around 20000 per month since 2011 till date.
