what is the procedure to conduct the trial of a split up case after the re arrest of the absconded accused..?. one of the accused in the connected/original case was convicted by the Court and only after the conviction, the absconded accused was arrested and produced before the court. Now what is the procedure..?, whether to commence the trial a fresh..? or to begin from the place from which stage the accused was absconded..?

Conviction in the 1st case has nothing to do with the split up case. What is the status of the convicted accused in the 2nd case?

No need for fresh trial. If the accused has already been convicted, he would face the conviction sentenced upon him.
