We are doing a one time settlement. Just wondering, can kids claim anything in future citing that the agreement was done by their mother and not by them. How to protect against it.
Thanks

Does it matters? either way, I was told that even after one time settlement, kids will have rights on father and grand fathers inheritance.

The legitimate children have the right to a share in the ancestral property out of their father's share in the ancestral property even now itself. They cannot claim a share in the self acquired property of their father especially if has disposed it in the manner as per his desire.
