My cousin is married to woman and her father has file the complaint u/s 498-A against him, his younger brother and father. His father is 70 years old and woman father used to abused him on the occasion of every visit at home
Now bride father has implicated all of them in false cases and has levyied false charges of demanding car, flat etc in his complaint which was referred to Crime against woman cell
During Ist meet, my cousin himself had visited the cell but the CAW persistently asking for other members of family for meet.During 1st meeting, the bride father showed abusive behavior to cousin before CAW members

His father has apprehensions that bride father may harm in some manner whenever he visted CAW.
Can he made any requisition letter to the Police/P.S for providing enough security and care to avoid unwanted kind of harm ?

If the FIR is registered they can go for quashing the FIR in the high court.

No the query here is not qushing of FIR but his fear of of bodily harm when his father attends the CAW meeting.  You certainly have a right to get police protection from local thana where the CAW office is located or even make an application to the CAW on his apprehension stating reasons.
