Wife refusing divorce after cash settlement in court

We have a common lawyer after cash settlement in court now she is refusing for divorce. My lawyer everytime files for exparte on behalf of wife. Last time it was dismissed without awarding divorce. Now again he filed same case reopening. I payed 40000/- for lawyer fees but now everytime he makes heated conversation and boils me. Dont know why he does all. Kindly guide me. If i dont attend for hearing, the court will give exparte decision and award divorce? What can i do now. Iam vexed with this situation and my life too.
