woman equal property rights in tamilnadu

my mother married 1988 ,
dob 3/12/1972, age:15
tamilnadu property act 25/3/1989
said, before above date married daughter did n't had property rights her father's own property
but mother age -25/3/1989->16years 4month but her 18yrs complete in
3/12/1990
if her father don't write any will document till her death
she have equal property right her fathers property among her brother or not

A daughter is always having equal rights with all sons in self-acquired property of her father, if he dies intestate.  The later amendments provided equal rights to daughter's ancestral property also as sons rights.
