4 Guj Advocates suspended

The Disciplinary Committee of the Bar Council of Gujarat suspended four advocates, enrolled with the council, from their practices for a certain period, with immediate effect under section 35 (3) (C) of the Advocates act 1961. N J Panchal, Registrar of the disciplinary committee of bar council said advocates residing in Amreli -- Chimanlal Manjibhai Dhanani and Haresh Chimanlal Dhanni, and Ahmedabad advocate Prasan Popatlal Jobalia have been suspended for three years, while Narendra Gaurishankar Tiwari, a resident of Vadodara has been suspended for two years. He said disciplinary committee has further directed that during the suspension period these advocates shall be debarred from practice as an advocate in any court or before any authority or person in India.
