Appointment of Judges in the Different High Courts

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri (i) Ashutosh Jayantilal Shastri, (ii) Biren Aniruddh Vaishnav, (iii) Alpesh Yeshvant Kogje, (vi) Arvindsingh Ishwarsingh Supehia, and (v) Bipinkumar Navalchandbhai Karia, to be Additional Judges of the Gujarat High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Vivek Singh Thakur, and (ii) Shri Ajay Mohan Goel, to be Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices; and 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Sandeep Sharma, and (ii) Shri Chander Bhusan, to be Additional Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri (i) Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari, and (ii) Vivek Rusia, and (iii) Anand Pathak, (iv) Ved Prakash Sharma, (v) Jagdish Prasad Gupta, (vi) Anurag Kumar Shrivastava, (vii) Housla Prasad Singh and (viii) Ashok Kumar Joshi, to be Additional Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, in that order of seniority. 

The appointment of S/Shri (i) Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari, (ii) Vivek Rusia, and (iii) Anand Pathak, (iv) Jagdish Prasad Gupta, (v) Anurag Kumar Shrivastava, (vi) Housla Prasad Singh and (vii) Ashok Kumar Joshi, would be for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. However, the period of appointment of Shri Ved Prakash Sharma would be with effect from the date the assume charge of his office till 1st January, 2018. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Vivek Agarwal and (ii) Smt. Nandita Dubey, to be Additional Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Atul Sreedharan, to be an Additional Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Shri Ananda Sen, and (ii) Shri Anant Bijay Singh, to be Additional Judges of the Jharkhand High Court, in that order of seniority, for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. 

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint S/Shri (i) Abhai Kumar, (ii) Alok Kumar Mukherjee, (iii) Anil Kumar Srivastava-II, (iv) Ravindra Nath Kakkar, (v) Dr. Vijay Laxmi, (vi) Umesh Chandra Srivastava, (vii) Ravindra Nath Mishra-II, (viii) Prabhat Chandra Tripathi, and (ix) Vinod Kumar Srivastava-III, to be Additional Judges of the Allahabad High Court, in that order of seniority. 

The appointment of Shri Abhai Kumar, Shri Anil Kumar Srivastava-II, Shri Ravindra Nath Kakkar, and Umesh Chandra Srivastava, would be for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. However, the period of appointment in respect of S/Shri Alok Kumar Mikherjee, Dr. Vijay Laxmi, Ravindra Nath Mishra-II, Prabhat Chandra Tripathi, and Vinod Kumar Srivastava-III is with effect from the date they assumes charge of their offices till 17th January, 2017, 30th June, 2017, 05th November 2017, 25th January 2018 and 24th March 2018 respectively.
