Chief Justice of J&K transferred to Gujarat

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 222, read with article 222 (1A) of the Constitution of India in its application to Jammu and Kashmir, the President, after consultation with the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer Shri Justice Kalavamkodath Sivasankara Panicker Radhakrishnan, Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, as Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court and to direct him to assume charge of his office in the Gujarat High Court on or before 6th September, 2008.
