BCI Decides To Keep In Abeyance 'Criticism-Disqualification Rules' For Review

The Bar Council of India has decided to formulate a committee to review the recently inserted Sections V and V-A of Chapter II of Part VI of the Bar Council of India Rules and has decided to keep the rules in abeyance till the report is received. The Bench declared the sections unconstitutional.

This rule had drawn a lot of attention because of the criticism it faced.

Delhi HC Refuses To Hear Plea Seeking Internal Assessment Criteria For CBSE Class 10

The Delhi High Court refused to hear any plea pertaining to a direction to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to publish the rationale document on Class X assessment criteria. They clearly stated that Litigation will not be an option here at all.

Experimental Door-To-Door Vaccination To Be Conducted In Maharashtra Without Seeking Centre’s Approval, Bombay High Court

Based on the recent judgment of Dhruti Kapadia & Anr. v. Union of India & Ors., the government of Maharashtra stated that they will not wait for the Centre’s approval for the door-to-door vaccination distribution. This will be totally on an experimental basis for the elderly people and the people with any sort of disability.

Allahabad High Court Directs Uttar Pradesh Govt. To Reply In Two Weeks On Defects In Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination

The Uttar Pradesh government has been directed to state a reply within two weeks on the defects that were in the question paper for the Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination. Not only where the questions out of syllabus, but the options provided were also wrong.

Constitutional Validity Of The Tamil Nadu Land Acqusition Act, 2019 Upheld By The Supreme Court

The Supreme Court bench struck down the law as being ‘unconstitutional, illegal and void’ on Tuesday. This was to be applied from 2013 retrospectively. Even after a lot of petitions and debates, this decision was taken.
