Ex Union Minister Khalap To Lead 3 Member Goa State Law Commission 1/14/2009 Former Union Minister Ramakant Khalap would head the new 3-member State Law Commission constituted for Goa. Advocates Cleopato Cutinho and Mario Pinto Almeida are other members of the commission, said chief minister Digambar Kamat. The state cabinet had recently cleared the proposal to constitute the state-level law commission to study the existing laws to detect lacune and recommend amendments/abrogation of irrelevant/redundant laws.
