HC issues notice to Minister

Jabalpur, MP, Feb 27 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh High Court issued a notice to the State Rural Devlopment and Panchayat Minister Gopal Bhargava on a petition challenging his victory from Reheli Assembly Constituency. Hearing the petitiion, filed by defeated Congress candidate Jeevan Lal Patel, Justice Rakesh Chandra Mishra yesterday admimtted the same and directed Mr Bhargava to reply within six weeks. In his petition, Mr Patel charged Mr Bhargava, who was also the Agriculture and Cooperative Minister in the previous government, with using corrupt practices during the election.
