Staff Reporter Tiruvannamalai: Applications from the public seeking to include their names in the electoral rolls should have either the previous address or Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) number or both, T.K.Ramachandran, electoral roll observer for this district, has said. Addressing a review meeting at the collectorate here on Tuesday, he told officials that if a Form-6 lacks previous address as well as EPIC number, it should be rejected, especially when the applicant was not in the age group of below 25. If at least one of this information provided in the Form, it should be accepted after the field visit and verification, he added. Officials said that about 17,000 people from the district filed Form-6 seeking inclusion in the electoral roll. Considering strength of certain booths, the administration proposed for creation of 15 auxiliary booths in the district. District Collector M.Rajendran and Revenue Divisional Officers and Tahsildars took part in the meeting
