Mumbai: All eyes are set on the 26/11 terror trial court where lone surviving Pakistani gunman Ajmal Kasab would appear tomorrow to give his statement on evidence adduced by the prosecution against him.

The court, which resumes after Christmas vactions, is expected to question Kasab on the opinion given by Ballastic experts and DNA reports which have nailed him in the terror attacks.

Ballastic experts have opined that the bullets fired from Kasab's AK-47 rifle had caused fatal injuries on the bodies of victims, special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam told PTI.

Nikam further said that this scientific evidence will falsify Kasab's "fabricated" story that he had not fired on the people. He is charged with gunning down 166 persons.

The DNA reports have said that samples found from Kuber fishing trawler (by which Kasab and 9 other terrorists had purportedly arrived from Pakistan) had matched with the DNA of Kasab.

The reports have also confirmed that DNA of bodies of slain terrorists had matched with the DNA of Kasab.

This evidence suggests that they had travelled together on Kuber fishing trawler which they hijacked in the sea on their way to Mumbai from Pakistan, Nikam said.
