Bar Council Delhi issues show-cause notice to Mr. Bharati

The Bar Council of Delhi(BCD) issued a show cause notice to Delhi Law Minister Mr. Somnath Bharati,who has been indicted by a Special CBI Court at Delhi, for tampering of evidence in a case of corruption, in which he had appeared as a defence lawyer.

Mr. Bharati has also been asked as to why he did not submit his application for surrendering his licence before taking oath as a Minister.

Mr. Bharati has to respond to the notice by February 7.
