Cadre-wise data of complaints received and action taken against bureaucrats is not maintained centrally in the DoPT. However, as per information received from the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), the complaints received in CVC are examined and the complaints which contain verifiable facts are sent for investigation and report to Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) / Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Pseudonymous/anonymous complaints are filed and the complaints which are administrative in nature are forwarded to CVO of concerned organization for necessary action at their end.
