2 Get 1-Yr Jail Term In Cheque Return Case 23 Feb 2009, 2234 hrs IST Source: Sandesh, Times New VADODARA: Text: In a nine-year-old cheque return case, a court in Vadodara on Monday sentenced two partners of a chemical company to a one-year imprisonment. According to the case details, partners SB Deshpande and Sheru Bhaskaran of Guru Nanak chemical company purchased chemical from Hetal Corporation and issued a Rs 1.80 lakh cheque for the same. The owners of Hetal Corporation filed a case and moved court, which gave the ruling on Monday. Deshpande and Bhaskaran were also fined Rs 5,000 fine each.
