An 89-year-old man has filed a petition in the Family Court, Chennai seeking to divorce his wife aged 80.
He submitted that he got married in 1949 and had two daughters and four sons.
He had been deserted and subjected to cruelty and hence was filing the petition for divorce.
The court posted the matter for August 17.
