The Supreme Court Collegium headed by the Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishanan again failed to take a final decision on the fate of Karnataka High Court Chief Justice P D Dinakaran in relation to his elevation to the Supreme Court. 



The SC Collegium is reconsidering its decision on its recommendation to elevate Justice Dinakaran to Supreme Court along with four others. 



Justice Dinakaran is facing allegations of land grab and corruption. District collector of Thiruvellor in his report to the Supreme Court had confirmed that Justice Dinakaran had grabbed 197 acres of land.
