HC Judge to inaugurate seminar on Senior Citizens Act

 Justice J N Patel, Judge of High Court of Bombay and Executive Chairman of Maharashtra State Legal Service Authority, will inaugurate a one-day state-level seminar on Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 on December 12. 



Justice N A Britto, Executive Chairman, Goa State Legal Service Authority will preside over the function. 



B F D’souza, President, senior citizens forum, Dr Narayan Desai, of Sneha Mandir will talk on ‘What We Expect From The Authorities’ followed by another talk by U V Bakre, Principal, District and Session Judge, Margao, on Senior Citizens and Legal Services. 



District Magistrate North Goa R Mihir Vardhan will talk on ‘What I can do for Senior Citizens’ followed by an interactive session. 



Director of Social Welfare N B Narvekar will share his views on ‘Government Policies for senior citizens.’
