SC Permits Setting Up Of Night Safari Park In Greater Noida 1/9/2009 The Supreme Court cleared the decks for setting up of Night Safari Park in Greater Noida. The safari Park is being set up on 100 hectares of land, at an estimated cost of about Rs 400 crore. The safari would provide a natural habitat for animals, birds, reptiles and other fauna. The visitors would move around in vehicles fitted with protective cage while animals like lion, leopard and others would roam in forest like surroundings. A bench comprising Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan and Justice P Sathasivam gave the green signal for the upcoming project, which would be the first of its kind in the national capital region (NCR).
