i think prostitution is now a wll settled industry in india, there are lots of people invlve din this nd govt. can not do anything about it , so govt. may legalise it as an option but there may be some restrictions also imposed so that discriminations will not found with the people voluntarily involved in it as well as people who indulge in it involuntarily may leaveit

when favouring the 2nd question thionk of the condition of this country. How that few can be defined? who will define? what is the critieria for such a FEW. So better is less evil that is restriction of such activity.

Though prostitution is against the custom. Traditionally every society have legalized prostitution bay. Thought i am against that tradition, it might be a remedy in reducing sexual offences like rape and other immoral traffic. If prostitution is legalized, child abusement may low

after S.377 judgment by Delhi High Court, i think this issue shall go positively now. the things are happening behind the curtain and this work is not just confined to the lower strata of the society, even so called elite class of the society is not aloof from it. so let it be permitted with few restricitions esp on the side of age and medical restricitions. one should be a master of his/her own body.
