every one have right to expression of speech , we have to consider that speech if logical for that purpose we have to allow reader what comes in their mind after reading the book , by banning a book is not the solution to stop the truth , it may be available through any other channel. thus in my view Thought of a prudent person is required and not the politics done on the expression and thoughts of a writer as he shares his experience e.g. if some one did not believe in god they are not banned from going to temple on the same pattern banning of Shri Jaswant Singh Book in not correct in my view at all. but unfortunately i did not have opportunity to read it , one of the reason may be its cost

My best guess is that all this noise surrounding the book in question will only serve as free publicity and would ensure a handsome pension for Mr. Jaswant Singh through the voluminous sale of the "controversial".

Everyone has right to to show his feelings and thinking,,,that has been done by Mr. Jaswant Singh in his book. Now only criticism process is going on. Mr. Singh is a big name in politics so game is also being played by politicians.Book banned and relegation from the party is also a part of this.

i used to be beliver in BJP ideology, but in the manner decisions are being taken therein is simply ridiculous, banning of book showed simply non application of mind and gross violation of contitutional provisions by the Gujrat Govt....let there be some space for expression of opinion.

To know Jinnah a little better , it would be worthwhile to read 'Roses in December' by Justice Chagla [ who was Jinnah's junior].

It is wrong to ban a book in a particular state. But the reason behind the act is a safety measure to avoid other Best Bakery and Kothra
