Question is faulty, as if person has practical experience in life or he studied higher education if they go for 3yrs course they will be better than 5 yrs student.

Ram Jethmalani & Soli Sorabji are also product of 3 year course. Qualitative legal education depends upon the dedicated teachers.

Its not the duration that upholds the quality.. but the standards of examination. Compare law course with CA and ICWA.

One problem with the law course is that it is only theory based and no practical training is made compulsory as in case of other Professional Courses like CA where 3 years articleship is a must and the rest is a correspondence couse. Including the same in the curriculum may add to the quality of advocates on getting out of law universities

I say Make the Law 2 Years and 1 year give student compulsory attendance in District Courts for attending various cases atleast(Petty)with the helpof Courtmaster and Judge. This reduces burden of court and increases efficiency in system of Education and Judicial System at the same time.

There is no use in increasing years spent in education with out qualitative methodology. I say Make the Law 2 Years and 1 year give student compulsory attendance in District Courts for attending various cases atleast(Petty) with the help of Court master and Judge .. This reduces burden of court and increases efficiency in system of Education and Judicial System at the same time

Mere scrapping of three years' course would not yield any result. The requirement is to revise the syllabus. The syllabus must have stress on the practical learning and professional ethics than on the academic aspect.

No need to scrap three year course. It gives more knowledge to the students as they are from different graduation and they can also have a different view towards law.

I dont think scrapping of three year's course would help. Rather revising the syllabus of three year's course is needed. And also, in legal profession, dedication to the profession, and constant up gradation of knowledge brings qualitative lawyers, be it three year student or five year student.
