yes,it is illegal.it is a settled law a notice should be served before taking any action against an employee, any how the jet airways already taken decission to reinstate the all employees, is ery happy news. | |

the maxim audi alterm partem has not been complied in this case... before taking any step , the other party must be given an oppurtunity of being heard... there principle of natural justice has not been followed by jet airways | |

Procedural things cannot be done away with. Whether it Government Sector or Public Sector or Private Sector jobs. It is a flagrant violation of natural justice principles and Labour Laws. | |

the employee may give amount of the notice period then he no need to give any notice to the employee who is working on probation period. | |

As per Jet,all employees were on probation, so as per condition in appointment letter, Act of jet was legal but not human. | |
