I have property in bangalore which has mother deed missing, details are as follows:
In 1990, registration of sites in revenue land was abolished, so most of transaction was via GPA and sale agreement (Un registered). My property had similar titles history.
1) My Mother was GPA holder(un registered) of person_A since 1992
2) Person_A was GPA holder(un registered) of person_B, from 1990 to 1992
3) My mother executed sale deed in sub register to my father name in 2006. Betterment charge was paid by my mother in 1999 and was holding khata since then.
From land owner to person_B, there might be atleast 2 more sale transaction for which we don't have document and also don't have any hopes of finding them.
a) How safe is my property titles?
b) Is there a time limit as such upon which we can assume titles are safe.
