One of my friend's father purchased in a plot of 500 yards in a society 22 years back and the same was registered on his name, he passed away 3years after purchasing the land and he didn't said to the family members. on month back while my friend is cleaning his house for his marriage he found a xerox copy of the document which was registered. when we went near the plot the plot was occupied by a realter (real estate people) and he told that i occupied this plot long back from 16 years due to the government order who occupies the plot/land for 15 years it will remains to them.
Is it true the who occupies a plot/land for 15 years will remain to them.
please help me with a suggestion what can we do, because my friend his suffuring in poorness after his fathers death
