GPA

I wanted tom buy a property, it is actually sold to the current owner by a GPA( General Power attorny). can i buy that proerty.

If all other documents regarding the property are fine, then there should not be any problem for you to buy that property. But see whether  the GPA is validly executed.

It is only during the life time of the Principal, his General Power of Attorney Deed is valid. A GP agent can not execute any deed on the basis of GPA, if the principal is not alive by the time of execution of sale deed. Carefully go through the recitals of the GP to ensure the recital whether agent is empowered to deliver the property or not. The Title to the Principal  is legal, then GP is Valid.
