We have illegal tenants who have occupied our land when we were out of country. They have build up a shed and procured a house number and electricity to this shed. we are even now paying the tax for the land they are possessing...and have got the documents to prove our property. Since they have got a house number and electricity as well as ration card proving their residence, will we be able to claim our land back from them..can anyone provide us with some legal advice.......

Dear sir,
Once u admit them as tenant, whether legal or illegal there is a legal relationship created automatically. I guess they are illegal OCCUPANTS in your property.
Well if u can give more details like whether they are tenants of you, whether there is any agreement / dopcuments to establish a relationship between you and the tenants , whether they are illegal occupants, and since how long they are in possession, where is this property situated, details of the revenue documents pertaining to this property etc. it will be more convenient to guide u in proper direction.
