At the outset thanks a lot for making such a portal to discuss legal issues and info sharing for ppl like me who ahve a very little idea about legal issues.
I am planning to purchase a land in proposed township project called Goodland County ,gothawade villege near hinjewadi. The seller is stating that as a part of purchase process he will get an MoU signed between him and self which will be done by notary. As this land is proposed township and the builder states that the documents are submitted for township approval and it will take an year or two and till such time Mou will hold good. He is offering great discounts on full downpayment and also mentions in Mou that the registration of land will be done after township approval. Does this MoU have any legal bonding and in case of any problem in future can i quote it to be legal document ???.
Thanks in anticipation.
