Power of attorney

Hi,

I am planning to buy a resale property .

The owner of the property has given a registered power of attorney to his father.

Should i get into Sale Deed registration with his father .Will it be a clear transaction?or i may face any issue later in transfering the title or any legal complicacy. Please suggest.

Thanks

Sanjib

Insist on a registered POA in his father's favour if he wants him to act as the executor and execute sale deed on his behalf. If that is done, There shouldnt be any problems.

Thanks much for the response..Yes it is a registered POA..I was just concern about the new verdict given by Supreme court sometime in Oct 2011"
