Power of attorney from nri

A NRI in UK has executed a General Power of Attorney at the Indian High Commission at London, in which she has appointed her husband, who resides at Gurgaon (Haryana), as her agent. She intends to sell a property in Maharashtra and buy another in West Bengal. Can this General Power of Attorney be stamped at Gurgaon and be used at both Maharashtra and West Bengal? Appreciate your advice and specific mention of the applicable act(s) and clause(s). Many thanks, Burman

Please advise if the General Power of Attorney executed at Indian High Commission (London) and stamped at Gurgaon (where the attorney resides), be used for real estate transactions at Maharashtra and West Bengal by the attorney. Thanks, Burman
