Without probate of will, the will have no value in the eye of law and it is mere a piece of paper. Without probate of will the right of will holder doesn't exit and you can't transfer the property only on grounds of registered or unregisterd.

DEAR MR. Rajeev Kumar JI,  I differ from your views.

WILL is always valid without even registration, and more over probate is a must only in the cities of Chennai and Mumbai.

WILL  can be probated in all states and COMPULSORY IN CITIES OF CHENNAI AND MUMBAI.

WILL HAS TO BE PROVED ONLY INCASE OF ANY DISPUTE OTHERWISE THERE IS NO NEED FOR ANY VALIDATION.

IN HARYANA YOU CAN PROCEED WITH ANY  WILL -- PROPERTY DEALINGS WITHOUT PROBATE / UNREGISTERED WILL PROVIDED THERE ARE NO OTHER PROBLEMS. (ISSUES/ LITIGATIONS)
