We are four of us in my family. Me and my hubby and my in-laws. During Nov 2011 we vacated our old house and shifted to other house for rent, where we are paying rent of R. 6500/- every month and we paid Rs. 50,000/- as advance. On last week of June, my hubby got a call from house owner. He has told that he got transfered to bangalore from Mysore (He is a Govt. Employee) and asked us to vacate home, bcoz he wants to stay over there. We asked him time till Sept 1st week, bcoz we have to search for another home to get shifted. he also agreed for that. We got rental agreement also by our own cost and we asked him to sign it from 3 months. He was escaping by telling us one or the other reason. I don't understand which Govt. company will tell him to get transfer immediatley with out notice. He was telling us that it was a surprise for him and he has also reported to bangalore office already. We are not worried about vacating home, we told him that once we get a home, we will shift immediately even before Sept 1st week..
The problem started from July 1st week itself. Every day they used to call my hubby and check whether we got home or not. and also they used to visit our home once in a week and check with us directly. They used to call my hubby always and disturb him (I can tell mentally harass him). We were checking with the help of our neighbours and also few of our friends for alternative home. But, unfortunately we are not finding a good home. Yesterday that is on July 25th by 7. p.m he had called my hubby and told that he has got few household items from Mysore, and wanted to keep just one almirah in our house. My husband first refused, later since house owner requested, my hubby told that if you find any place u can keep. My mother-in-law was alone at home. Me, my hubby and my father-in-law are working. Everyday we will reach home only by 10.P.M. Our house owner went to my home and kept Almirah in the hall and opened our bedroom which was locked and entered into it and placed Refrigerator, Cot and some other items. I was not aware of all these things. My hubby called me and told later after giving permission to keep only one almirah. But, I didn't find it good and i told my hubby to place concall and connect since he never receives my call. I asked him not to keep any thing in our home till we come. he was telling me that he has kept it already. I told him to remove it. He was arguing. I told that if any things are kept in our home, when I come, I will just keep it out side. And we will not be responsible. Then he went home again and removed all the items over there. They have even damaged our bed cover also which was put on the bed.
And also he has told to my mother-in-law that, if we are not vacating our home by 15th of Aug, he will call some goondas and police and put all our things out. My mother-in-law doesn't know any other language than Malayalam and she is a diabetes patient. She has got scared bcoz of their attitude. When we reached home my mother-in-law told all these things to us. Then my hubby called house owner and asked him why did he speak like that to my mother-in-law. He told that he will visit our home and speak to us directly. We were waiting till 11.30 p.m, but he didn't turn up. We all were disturbed very badly bcoz of their attitude and behaviour. My hubby is mentally disturbed and not able to concentrate on his work also.
We thought of giving a complaint, but it was too late in the night, and later in the morning, all my hubby's friends told that not to give complaint, bcoz it will take long time to get resolved.
Kindly suggest me what measures should I take.
