Regarding: Partnership firm

I wanted to know that if some one is 17 and a person wants to open a company on name of two poeple...the mother and his sister who is 17.. can he?like i got a freind who wants to do this and his sis is also my freind so were just wondering a marketting company they want to open and ring fanchise.

sister can be admitted as minor partner until she has completed the age of 18yrs

The minors can be admited to partnership but only for sharing profits.
