Dear Experts,
Can we proceed to file recovery suit against the landlord to recover the refundable security deposit. However the agreement is silent about the security deposit paid to the landlord . Can we file a recovery suit on the basis of bank statement reflecting the transaction. The said deposit was paid to the landlord through cheque. we had vacated the premise on the expiry of the agreement but the ladlord is not refunding the deposit and neglecting all the efforts made till date despite sending legal notice. Kindly advise!
