Absconder location

My friend has been declared an absconder. The police is calling up his lawyer to disclose his location.  Is his lawyer bound by law to disclose his 'absconded' client's location to the police ?

CONVERSATION BETWEEN CLIENT AND LAWYER IS CALLED  'Privileged Communication

Advocates are saved and protected for the same, police officials acn not force the lawyer to disclose the location of accused person even they have call details that accused had called the lawyer .

DEFINITION of 'Privileged Communication' Interaction between two parties in which the law recognizes a private, protected relationship. Whatever is communicated between these pairs of parties shall remain confidential, and the law cannot force disclosure of these communications.

Thank you sir. In these times (when a false case falls upon you), only God and good samaritans like you come forward to help.

Thanks again.
