Re: Hindu Marriage. The marriage took place when both were of middle age the women was around 34 years and the men's age was 35 years +. Both are school drop outs and the husband works in a small temple as pujari and also on catering for marriage etc. (his family profession where all brothers are engaged). They dont have child and post marriage the wife was diagnosed with diabetes, type II only. However, the husband totally ignored and refused to give the treatment . He and his family takes a stand that the wfie's family is bound to take care of her. The wife's sister/brothers with limited means (both parents died) has been taking care of the medical treat ment for over 10 years. However, the husband neglects even to administer insulin or give proper care resulting in the wife losing one leg (amputated ) and now the second leg almost was in bad state the thumb finger is amputated . This time she was on virtual coma state and again the sister has taken care of the treatment. This is just a vivid brief of the harassments and neglect of the husband and his family. Even during the medical treatment where money was spent by the wife's sister, he refused to even stay in the hospital as attendant citing he has to attend to his job. In order to save the life, the wife's sister/brother proposes to lodge the wife at a good ashram (monthly charges needs to be paid for caretaking and medicines).
What relieve can be obtained from the husband's side. Will be use this opportunity to get rid of his wife citing any flimsy ground or compel her still to live with him - In the absense of joining him (endangers her life)! Under what provisions quick relief can be obtained
