Apartment parking issue - need help

Hello,

I have been facing car parking and two wheeler parking issue on my own flat. I have purchased the flat and completed the registration process on 2017. But the parking allotment was done by builder and all these days everyone in the society was parking the vehicles first come first basis randomly. Association has formed very recently(early 2022) and the parking allotment was done through chit basis on July 2022. I have got the very worst corner narrow parking slot which is very difficult to park and get down of the car whereas the most of the other owners got very good spacious parking slot with both sides extra space to park two wheelers.

I had raised the parking concern to association team, but they are least bothered since all of them got good parking slots. All others have too much of extra space to accommodate the two wheelers, but mine doesn’t have even 1inch extra space. So i requested association team to allocate dedicated two wheeler parking space and capture the same in parking allotment letter since there are some common small parking slots which can hold only two wheelers. But association team is not ready to do that and they are saying in sale deed only covered car parking is mentioned and no two wheelers, hence it is not possible to allocate dedicated two wheeler space and denied document the same for me even though there are some free common small parking space available.

Now everyone in the society is happily parking the two wheelers on their own parking slot along with car and I am suffering daily to park my car in the small narrow parking space and no permanent place to park my two wheelers.

My allotted car parking size is 12.3sq.mt.

I found in internet that as per LAW the minimum car parking space should not be less than 13.75sq.mts.

Is there a solution for me in law?

Kindly help me.

Any suggestion depends upon the law under which the Society is registered. Anyhow, no governing body has to be reasonable in its actions and put its mebers to unnecessary hassles.
