Hello sir My name is Mahender Darapu,I have a doubt regarding on crime case that is related to my family members.
The case details are My brother in law and his friends came to my home for the purpose to murder all my family members,but my village people stop their murder attempt.after that my dady went to police station and file a case, but the police people booked the case u/s 402.is it correct section to the above matter.
please give me suugestions.

if you have strong proof to prove that they are coming for murder then this section is not correct, if you think that the police is not add specific sections then file a private criminal complaint before court.
