My parents have sent me some documents through Professional courier on the 25th of May from Madurai, to be delivered in Hyderabad. The courier which was supposed to be received on the 29th or 30th of May, but was not received for the reason that i hadnt given the company name that i was working with, later after i had given that detail, the courier had been sent to Hyderabad and back to chennai(the courier company claims that the address was not found) may be twice until 13th of June. Now on the 13th of June, i came to know through the call centre of Professional courier that the courier is in Hyderabad and will be delivered today, but today evening around 5.30pm when i called up the courier company, they say the same reason as my phone was ringing and i didnt pick up the call and they had also sent me an SMS, which i have never received. When stressed on this point the guy says that the courier might be delivered today if the boys come in else i can do what ever i want.
Please suggest me on how to proceed about this. The documents in the courier are important for me since that is for applying for my father's claim, since he had undergone by-pass surgery lately.
Appreciate your suggestion on how to proceed.
